Training: Mobile crane - AV-013 - No Experience

Target audience

Every future operator of cranes (on tracks / on a truck / raw terrain).
Every person who needs to be able to work with a mobile crane in a safe way.

• Being at least 18 years old.
• Being in possession of a certificate of medical fitness (a/o for safety function)

Program

• The training takes 3 days
  • The theoretic exam takes 30 minutes
  • The practical exam takes about 45 minutes

Results

THEORY

• Knowledge of the contents of the safety function
• Knowing what work permits are and the ability to interpret and comply with them
• Knowing the laws and standards are concerning the control system
• Knowing what the preliminary works are before using a crane.
• Knowing the different types of cranes, there parts and vital safety’s
• Knowing about maintenance, inspections and daily controls on the material
• Knowing about rigging materials, center of gravity and the weight of the charges
• Knowing how to move a mobile crane
• To recognize, interpret and maybe solve failures
• Knowledge of the measures at the end of the work
• Knowledge about the environment aspects
• Knowing how to communicate

PRACTICAL

• To be able to do practical preparations prior to the use of a mobile crane
• To be able to inspect the crane
• To be able to rig charges with several methods
• Carry out rigging and controlling the movements
• Reading load tables
• Moving mobile cranes
• To be able to carry out daily maintenance
• Recognizing failures
• Recognizing risks and being able to prevent them
• Finish the works and store the materials
• Preparing the crane for transport

Practical

Max 3 persons per 3 day training.
