Target audience
Employees who have to work with a forklift truck on company premises, in establishments, workshops, warehouses, where the tasks have a certain degree of difficulty, e.g. stacking at height, driving and stacking in a limited space, under time pressure, in the vicinity of important installations, intensive loading and unloading, in places where there is traffic of persons and/or other means of transport.
Admission requirements :
Be at least 18 years old
Have a medical certificate of fitness
Program
The training lasts half a day
The theory exam takes 20 minutes (maximum 30 minutes)
The practical exam takes about 30 minutes

Application of safety and traffic rules

Be able to carry out daily inspection of the reach truck correctly, recognise dangerous defects and report them

Apply correct mounting and dismounting techniques and park the reach truck safely

Use the controls correctly

Be able to connect and disconnect batteries

Using good driving technique

Be able to perform manoeuvres: turning and cornering, forwards and backwards, passing in very narrow passages

Ability to estimate distances, depths and heights

Stacking goods in space with maximum 1/2 metre turning radius, without using the side-shift

Ability to stack correctly at ground level, in racking and at height and in function of reach truck capacity

Stacking with various systems such as gitterbox, baskets and individual stacking systems

Applying order and tidiness

Ability to transport long, high and bulky loads
