Training: Scaffolder - AV-021 - Experienced

Target audience

Employees who while carrying out their work may have to protect themselves with personal fall protection equipment.

• Being at least 18 years old.
• Being in possession of a certificate of medical fitness (a/o for safety function)

Program

• The training takes 1 day
  • The theoretic exam takes 20 minutes (max 30)
  • The practical exam takes about 30 minutes

Results

THEORY

• Knowing the content of the safety function
• Knowing what work permits are and being able to interpret and observe them
• Knowing the safety rules
• Knowing the relevant standards, legislation and instructions
• Knowing how to inspect scaffolding material
• Knowing how to assemble, modify and disassemble scaffolds
• Knowing how to extend and bridge scaffolds
• Knowing the theory of the strength of materials and of stability
• Knowing how to draw up a list of materials

PRACTICAL

• Being able to apply the safety rules, to interact with people.
• Being able to inspect scaffolding material in practice.
• Being able to assemble, disassemble and adjust a scaffold.

Practical

Max 10 people per 1 day training.
