Training: Fall protection - basis - AV-006 - Experienced

Target audience

Employees who while carrying out their work may have to protect themselves with personal fall protection equipment.

• Being at least 18 years old.
• Being in possession of a certificate of medical fitness (a/o for safety function)

Program

• The training takes 0.5 days
  • The theoretic exam takes 20 minutes (max 30)
  • The practical exam takes about 30 minutes

Results

THEORY

• Knowledge of the contents of the safety function
• Knowing what work permits are and the ability to interpret and comply with them
• Knowledge of the general safety rules;
• Being aware of the danger of falling and risk
• Knowledge of inspection, care and maintenance procedures
• Knowledge of the forces exerted on our body, arresting a fall
• Knowledge of aspects of good anchoring
• Knowledge of handling equipment and loads
• Knowledge of the good use of anchor points, lifelines, shock absorbers and fall appliances.

PRACTICAL

• Ability to put on and adapt a harness
• Ability to apply the general safety rules
• Ability to handle equipment and loads
• Ability to use and apply anchor points, lifelines, shock absorbers and fall protection

Practical

Max 6 people per 0.5 day training.
