Training: Fall protection - basis - AV-006 - No/limited experience

Target audience

Employees who may need to protect themselves with personal fall protection equipment while performing their duties.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Possess a certificate of medical fitness

Program

• The training takes 1 days
  • The theoretic exam takes 20 minutes (max 30)
  • The practical exam takes about 30 minutes

Results

Theory

• Know the content of the safety function
• Know what work permits are and be able to interpret and comply with them
• Know the general safety rules
• Know fall hazards and risks
• Know inspection, care and maintenance procedures
• Know the forces acting on our body, cushioning a fall
• Know aspects of proper anchoring
• Know the manipulation of equipment and loads
• Know the proper use of anchoring point, lifeline, shock absorber and anti-fall device.

Practice

• Be able to put on and adjust a harness
• Apply general safety rules
• Manipulate equipment and loads
• Use and apply anchor point, lifeline, shock absorber, fall arrest device

Practical

Max 8 people per 1 day training.
